Materials:
Worsted weight yarn or Dk in Pink or multicolor.
Hook 3mm
Black, pink and red thread
Blush
Easter egg cases or stuffing
Tapestry needle
Round beads 4mm
Super glue
Pink Felt
Top:
Working in rounds and joining with sl st.
Rnd1: Make a ring with 6scs, sl st in the first sc. Join (6sts)
Rnd2: Ch1,2scs in each sc around (12sts)
Rnd3: Ch1,[sc in the next sc, 2sc in the next sc]6 times (18 sts)
Rnd4-7: Ch1, work 18scs around (18sts)
Rnd8: [Sk1,3scs in next sc]Repeat to end. FO.
Bottom:
Working in rounds and joining with sl st.
Rnd1: Make a ring with 6scs, sl st in the first sc. Join (6sts)
Rnd2: Ch1,2scs in each sc around (12sts)
Rnd3: Ch1,[sc in the next sc, 2sc in the next sc]6 times (18 sts)
Rnd4-6: Ch1, work 18scs around (18sts)
FO.Leaving enough yarn to sew.
1.- Trace a circle on a piece of pink felt (10p british coin or 24mm diameter) and cut it out,glue top and bottom to the cases and leave them to dry.
2.- With remaining yarn sew on the joint.
3.- Sew felt face with matress stitch embroidery.
4.- Embroider hair, eyes, smile and add blush to the cheeks and its done!
Tip: Press in the middle to open them!.
You can use them to store small pieces of jewerly(pic shows earrings) or use them as pendants, charms,christmas tree decoration or keyrings =^_^=
